Founded in 2016, Better Greens LLC is a mission-driven social enterprise based in Buffalo, Minnesota. We are dedicated to providing fresh, culturally significant African vegetables to African immigrant communities across the U.S., while empowering African immigrant farmers in Minnesota to build successful agricultural ventures. At Better Greens, we believe that everyone should have access to foods that connect them to their heritage and promote their health. Our mission is to foster positive social change by ensuring access to essential produce, promoting cultural diversity, and driving economic empowerment.

Our Approach
Our approach to agriculture is rooted in empowerment and sustainability. We work directly with African immigrant farmers, offering training, resources, and ongoing support to help them thrive. Through our partnerships with local organizations, we ensure our farmers have access to the latest agricultural techniques, tools, and markets. Additionally, our products are distributed through a combination of direct-to-consumer channels, farmers’ markets, and specialty stores, allowing us to reach our community wherever they are.
